On behalf of the Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce and the City of Pompano Beach, I would like to welcome you back for the 9th SEASON of the Pompano Beach Summer Golf League, every Thursday starting May 15th through August 28th!
FORMAT:
- 9-hole scramble format with four person teams assigned differently each week for parity
- Men tee off from the white tees and women from the red tees
- If less than 4 players, the additional shot must be alternated among the team members
- Bogey max score Per Hole. Once reached, pick up and move to the next hole
- Play ends at 7:40PM. Any holes not played will be scored as bogey.
LEAGUE SCORING:
- Individual scores are tracked through the season based on weekly finishes: 1st Place 5 points, 2nd Place 4 points, 3rd Place 3 points, all others 2 points.
- There will be no tiebreaker for 3rd place. All 3rd place teams will receive 3 points.
SPECIAL WEEKS:
- There will be 4 theme weeks during the season. Details will be announced the week before the special week.

Be ready to go, please be on time! Event start time is 5:00 pm - Shotgun will start promptly at 5:30 pm. Text Roger Gingerich if you're running late, (954) 295-1607.
What To Expect:
- When you arrive, carry your clubs to the starter's area, find your assigned team number and put your clubs on a cart
- The driving range is open. Tokens are in the Pro Shop
- Play ends at 7:40PM. Proceed to cart return promptly and dispose of any trash
- Galuppi’s is still the place for after golf networking!! We have the inside lounge area reserved. The tie-breaker Putt-Off will take place by 8PM!
- Be ready to have a great time!

Fees/Admission
Individual weekly play golfer entry fee $25 can be purchased for any week in advance. There are 5 sponsorship opportunities: four 4-week sponsorships available for just $150 each, and one Season sponsorship for $600. Sponsors receive logo placement on the weekly scoresheets and the standings that are sent by email to all players. These can be purchased on the Chamber website.
There are only 10 weekly spots available, and registration is on a first-come first-serve basis.
