I'm a proud +30-year resident of Pompano Beach. In the mid-1990s, my fiancé and I found our dream property in Hillsboro Shores. The city was a sleepy place then, but it wouldn't stay that way for long through three decades of growth and change.
After graduating from the University of Florida's journalism school in 1987, then worked as a local news reporter in Mississippi, Florida (Fort Myers, and later Pensacola), and in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, and winning awards from the Associated Press and UPI. I later became a correspondent for Nightly Business Report on PBS - a daily, nationally-broadcast business news program broadcast, and was nominated for a national Business Emmy Award in 2007.
After discovering TAPinto, I knew I wanted to be part of their growing base of local news publishers and bring the same quality stories and journalism to the residents of Pompano Beach.
